If you plan on taking part in any other activities while you are in Africa you must check with your insurance provider whether or not you would be covered for this activity should you have an accident while taking part in that activity.
The most important feature you need from your travel insurance is cover for emergency medical treatment. When you are abroad any treatment you need whether it is emergency or non emergency medical treatment would be your financial responsibility if you had no travel insurance. Therefore you need insurance with comprehensive medical care to make sure you are not left footing the bill at the end of the day should you fall ill or have an accident while you are in Morocco.

As Morocco is in Africa you may assume that you need to buy an insurance policy that covers “Worldwide” destinations. However, this is not the case as although Morocco is located in Africa most insurance providers cover Morocco under the heading of “Europe”. This is beneficial to Moroccan visitors as it means your policy is cheaper.
